1/16/2024 0 Comments Realtor websites torontoIf providing information for regular updates or requesting changes is an onerous process, it might turn a lot of agents off. Agents looking for a more robust design experience and total control over the look and feel of their website might consider a provider like Squarespace (number six on our list). They offer limited font choices and 24 templates. Placester customers don’t have much design control over their website other than color schemes. Where Placester Comes Up Short + a Great Alternative The responses were friendly and knowledgeable. I tested their phone support and after-hours email support with some basic questions about the platform. If you do need extra support, Placester provides live, U.S.-based phone support during business hours, Monday through Friday. Just request a change to your site via their portal and it’s all managed for you. It’s hard to get easier to use than the DIFM package. A concierge-level service experience at a great price point with tons of features makes Placester an easy choice. We continue to be impressed with Placester’s sites from a lead generation, SEO, and aesthetic standpoint. Their newest offering, a back-of-house brokerage management tool called Agent Manager, also has a lot of promise. Plus, if you select the top-tier package, DIFM Content Pro, Placester posts to your blog and social media on your behalf. The price for DIFM is reasonable, considering how much work this could take off a busy agent’s plate. On the flip side, you can still opt for the budget DIY (Do It Yourself) option and build a site with their easy-to-use templates. With DIFM, Placester will handle all the work of building, managing, updating, and maintaining websites for agents, team leaders, and brokers who need to spend their time doing other tasks. Placester is hoping to disrupt the real estate website building industry with its Do It For Me (DIFM) option. In my opinion, it’s not quite as powerful or as good at innovation as Sierra Interactive, but still worth considering. Real Geeks has many of the same tools and features as Sierra Interactive, but at a lower cost. Those who want to make less of an investment and need a product that is better for newer agents should look at Real Geeks. We also find that the customer service can be a bit spotty, and that the lead tracking tools could be more robust. It’s more expensive than other all-in-one website and lead generation solutions. If you already have a customer relationship manager (CRM) that you love, Sierra Interactive probably isn’t worth the investment. Where Sierra Interactive Comes Up Short + a Great Alternative I wish I had a direct line to an actual person, but the email option, plus access to the resource center, should provide solutions to almost any problem. If you do need help, you can reach Sierra Interactive through their email portal, which is fast and effective. The company gears its product to busy teams and brokerages, so they want to make it as easy to use as possible. Because the templates are limited and customization is pretty basic, there aren’t too many rabbit holes to tumble down. I find Sierra Interactive to be very easy to use.
